Total Time 40 minutes

Equipment

  • Piping bags
  • Candy rope

Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury 8 count cinnamon rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 18 Pretzel sticks
  • 16 Large Marshmallows
  • Mini m&m's
  • White Orange, and Black icing.

Instructions

  • Begin by placing cinnamon rolls in a dish and pouring heavy cream over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the icing. You will need to color 1/4 cup white icing orange and black and place in a piping bag. You can buy Pillsbury vanilla icing or you can make homemade icing.
  • Take one large marshmallow and make two black dots for the snowman eyes, and 5 black dots for his mouth/smile. Then take the orange icing and make a carrot shape for his nose. Repeat with 8 marshmallows and set aside.
  • When the cinnamon rolls have finished baking, remove from the oven and ice each roll with the icing that came in the tube.
  • Then, take a pretzel stick and place one large marshmallow on the end of the pretzel stick to make the snowman's body, then place the snowman face marshmallow on top, and stick the pretzel down in the cinnamon roll.
  • Then pipe white icing around the base of the marshmallow body and let it melt and run down on the cinnamon rolls.
  • Place a piece of rope candy around the neck of the snowman to make his scarf. Use three m&m's for his buttons, and two pretzel sticks broken in half for his arms. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Personalize Your Snowmen: Feel free to get creative and give each snowman its own unique personality. Maybe one has a tilted hat or another is wearing a bowtie!
  • Kid-Friendly Activity: Involve kids in the decorating process. It's a fun and edible craft!
  • Melting Effect: For a realistic melting effect, let some marshmallows ooze down the sides of the cinnamon rolls.
  • Snowman Accessories: Get creative! Use additional mini marshmallows for a snowy effect around the base, and consider placing a tiny hat or scarf made of icing or small pieces of fruit roll-ups.
