Ingredients

  • 1 cup of vermicelli
  • 2 slices of cheddar
  • 1 ounce of mozzarella
  • 2 olive pupils
  • 3 tbsp. marinara
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 bunch of dill
  • some bell peppers
  • salt.

Instructions

  • Form the eyes of the Grinch. Using a round cutter, cut yellow-colored sectors from the cheddar. Try to keep them uniform. Cut small circles out of the mozzarella using the nozzle of the cookie cutter. Roll the remaining mozzarella into a walnut-sized pompon.
  • Place the almonds, parsley, olive oil and lemon juice in the blender. Add a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth. If the parsley does not chop well, you can add 2-3 tbsp. of water.
  • In a saucepan, boil 5 cups of water, add salt. Boil the vermicelli according to the time specified on the package. Discard the vermicelli in a colander. Set aside 1/3 of the vermicelli. Mix the rest of the vermicelli with the green sauce. Divide the reserved vermicelli into large and small (3-4 tbsp.) portions. Mix the larger portion with the marinara sauce.
  • Place the green vermicelli on a serving platter. Shape into the Grinch's face. Add eyes, nose - almonds, mouth - bell peppers and dill eyebrows. Place the red hat, white fur and pom-pom.
  • Serve the dish to the table and get ready to receive compliments.
