Taco Pretzel Bites are a quick and flavorful snack made with sourdough pretzels, melted butter, and taco seasoning. After being tossed and baked, they come out perfectly crispy with a bold, savory kick. Ready in just 30 minutes, this easy recipe is ideal for parties, game days, or whenever you need a crowd-pleasing, make-ahead snack.
Place the butter in a large mixing bowl and microwave for 1 minute or until fully melted.
Add ¾ of the taco seasoning packet to the melted butter (1 ½ tablespoons or 0.75 ounces).
Stir.
Add the pretzels to the bowl and gently fold them into the butter mixture until all the pretzels are fully coated.
Spread on a 9x13 baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining taco seasoning over the top of the pretzels.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
Store in a sealed baggie in a cool, dry pantry for up to 2 weeks. Do not freeze or refrigerate.
Add the remaining taco seasoning to an empty seasoning bottle with the shaker lid on top for an easier way to more evenly sprinkle the seasoning over the top at the end.
If you would like to lower the saltiness, you can either buy the pretzels with low salt options or use unsalted butter.
For a tamer taco flavor, only use half of the taco seasoning packet, or 0.5 ounces.
You do not need to adjust the pretzels while they’re baking.
