Swedish Meatballs
This savory Swedish Meatballs recipe is absolutely the best! Made with savory ground beef, that is blended with nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. Served with savory gravy and a side of German Spaetzle to make this meal complete. These Swedish Meatballs are perfectly hearty and tender, you will agree these are the best meatballs you have ever had!
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup rolled graham crackers 6 full crackers
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ dry bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Mix ingredients together.
- Brown lightly in a little oil.
- Place in casserole dish and add a little water. Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes, until tender.
- Meatballs can be frozen after baking to use in a future meal.
