Why You'll Love This Fruity Pebbles Margarita
- It tastes exactly like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles in cocktail form- pure nostalgic fun in a glass.
- It gets ready in just 10 minutes, which makes it perfect for last-minute parties or spontaneous pool days.
- The Fruity Pebbles rim is an absolute showstopper, just like the rimmed glasses on my crown cran apple shooter that always steal the show at gatherings.
Recipe Ingredients
- Vodka: Start with a clean, neutral vodka. Nothing flavored that would compete with the cereal.
- Curacao: This adds a citrus backbone and subtle sweetness. Blue curacao would also give you a fun color payoff if you want to make it more vibrant.
- Fruity Pebbles cereal: The star of the show.
- White Claw raspberry: For a bit of fizz and that light berry note that plays beautifully with the sweetness of the condensed milk.
- Sweetened condensed milk: To make the margarita thick, creamy, and indulgent. I used it for my Eagles Jello shots too!
- Vanilla frosting: To act as the 'glue' for the rim. This is what helps grip the cereal perfectly.
See the recipe card below for exact quantities.
Recipe Variations, Additions, and Substitutions
- Spirit swap: Not a vodka fan? Try coconut rum for a tropical twist, or tequila for something closer to a classic.
- Non-alcoholic: Replace the vodka and curacao with sparkling lemonade. It makes a brilliant mocktail kids and non-drinkers will love- similar to my Whipped Kool-Aid, which is another crowd-pleasing non-alcoholic option.
- Cereal swap: Froot Loops, Cap'n Crunch, or Cocoa Pebbles all work well here.
- Rim alternatives: No vanilla frosting on hand? Honey or simple syrup both work as a substitute to get the cereal to adhere.
How to Make Fruity Pebbles Margarita

- Spoon a generous amount of the vanilla frosting to the rim of each glass- about an inch down onto the glass. Dip the glass into a bowl of cereal, making sure the cereal sticks nicely to the rim. Refrigerate the glasses until you prepare the drink.

- In a blender, add ice, vodka, curacao, ginger ale, and Raspberry White Claw, and blend until smooth. Add the condensed milk, and 2 tablespoons of Fruity Pebbles, and blend again until smooth and creamy.

3. Remove the glasses from the refrigerator, and fill them with the drink mixture. Serve immediately.
Recipe Tips & Tricks
- Chill your glasses for at least 5 minutes after rimming. Doing this helps the frosting set faster and keeps the drink colder once poured.
- Don't over-blend after adding the condensed milk. A 10-15 second blend is enough. Over-blending warms everything up and breaks down the thick, creamy texture.
- Rim the glasses at least 5 minutes before your guests arrive so the cereal has time to adhere properly. I always do this when I make my Naughty elf Christmas cocktail too.
- Use full-fat sweetened condensed milk for the thickest, most luxurious result. Low-fat versions work but won't give you quite the same richness.
- Blend in batches if you're making a large quantity. Filling up the blender leads to uneven blending and you lose that smooth, consistent texture.
Serving Ideas & Suggestions
Serve these straight from the blender while still icy cold. For a full party spread, pair them with fun shareable snacks like my Taco Charcuterie board, Slow Cooker Sausage Cheese Dip, or the always-popular Creamy Southwestern Corn Dip. They're all crowd-pleasers that disappear fast alongside cocktails.

No, I would not recommend making Fruity Pebbles Margaritas ahead of time. You could pre-blend all of the ingredients except the ice and then before serving, blend again with the ice.

Fruity Pebbles Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 cups Ice
- 3 ounces Vodka
- 3 ounces Curacao
- 1 box Fruity Pebbles
- 5 ounces White Claw Raspberry flavor
- 3 ounces Ginger Ale
- 2 Tablespoons Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 can Vanilla Frosting
Instructions
- With a pastry brush, or the back of a spoon, add a generous amount of the Vanilla Frosting to the rim of each glass, and about an inch down onto the glass.
- Pour Fruity Pebble into a bowl, at least 2 or three inches of the cereal in the bowl, and dip the glass into the Cereal, moving it in the cereal to stick the Pebbles to the glass. (You may have to use your fingers and press the cereal onto the frosting to make sure it sticks to the glass).
- Place the Glasses in the refrigerator to help set frosting to glass.
- In a Blender, add Ice, Vodka, Curacao, Ginger Ale, and Raspberry White Claw, and blend until smooth.
- Add the Condensed Milk, and 2 Tablespoons of Fruity Pebbles, and blend again until smooth and creamy.
- Remove glasses from refrigerator, and fill with the drink mixture.
- Serve, and Enjoy!
Notes
- Avoid over-blending the mixture, especially after you've added in the condensed milk.
- Prep the glasses ahead of time. Give at least 5 minutes for the cereal to stick to the rim of the glass.
- Serve immediately after you make- you don't want the ice to melt!
